Purpose
The website researchstudies.ca was created to help connect professors, graduate students, hospitals, laboratories, non profit organizations, and any other entity conducting research involving human participants, with the participants themselves.
The goal of this website is to act as a directory, centralizing research opportunities.
The creator of this website once participated in some paid research studies during college years, as a way to earn extra money. However, the creator noticed that research opportunities were hard to find if you didn't know to look in the right places, and they were very scattered because no central listing existed (for example, recruitment posters on a public message board or lamp post.
The goal of this website directory is to solve two problems.
1. The directory/this website will help those looking to be paid for participating in research studies that require human participation, to help those interested to earn extra income.
2. The directory/this website will also help fulfill the need of the researchers to hopefully find interested participants, which can be difficult with limited advertising resources.
